Disneyland Trip

A few weeks ago we went to Disneyland! What made this trip super special was that there was 18 of us! Yep, you heard me right 18 people! We are so blessed to have such amazing extended family and love them all. How LUCKY is Jackson?!?! Not to mention this was his third trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Thank you Gigi & Gramps, Mimi & Papa, Kiki & Apple Grant, Uncle Paul, Aunt Denise, Ryan, Sean & Megan, Uncle Gregg, Aunt Michele, Sarah & Kelsey for making it a magical trip. My Aunt Diane, Uncle Jim, Jason, Megan, Josh & Danielle couldn't make it as they already had plans to go this past weekend.
Sadly we had major camera issues and my camera was partially working the entire trip. Hopefully I will get more of the group pictures and will post them later. Looks like I might be upgrading to a "fancy" Digital SLR camera since my birthday is just around the corner..hint hint!! :)

CARS

This last trip was Jackson's third trip to Disneyland! He was so excited to see McQueen and Mater from the Disney movie Cars. If you have not seen it, you really should, its great! It was fun watching him soak up all the "Disney magic". We are looking forward to July when we get to go back and of course....CARS Land opening in 2012. It was very cool to watch "Radiator Springs" being built at California Adventure. The area is covered behind big tall screens but you can see the red rock formations towering above the screens. It was really neat. Our neighbors gave Jackson a Cars book called Tales From the Track. Jackson & Nic have been reading it almost every night before bed. Jackson has memorized all three of the stories and will "read" it with us. If you start to read the book then stop he will finish the sentence. It is so cute and we are really proud of him! I have tried to get it on video and he freezes up :) I think I am going to set up a "hidden camera" and try to capture it on film. Here are some photos with Lightning McQueen & Tow Mater from the last three trips. Very fun to look back....sigh...he has grown up way to fast!
