A Day Out with Thomas

It's really true how crazy obsessed you become with things your kids like. A Day Out with Thomas is a perfect example of that! I bought tickets for this event back in January. Of course we got Car #1 right behind Thomas. Jackson was so excited!! It was so fun watching his face as he got to see Thomas & even go on a ride. They had little booths for Thomas Tattoos, face painting, craft projects, train play areas, meeting Thomas Characters and of course a GIANT Thomas store (Thanks Mimi & Papa for the goodies!!!!) The event took place at Roaring Camp Railroad in the Santa Cruz mountains.

Jackson & Noodle

Here is Jackson at the aquarium "playing" with this sweet little penguin named Noodle (we read his name on a metal band on his flipper) We didn't realize until after that we had gathered quite the crowd behind us. You can even see the flash from some peoples cameras....too cute!!

Monterey Aquarium

Here are some pictures from Jackson's first trip to the Monterey Aquarium. We had a great time! Jackson is still talking about the jellyfish & penguins which were his favorite :)

Sprayground

We meet a few of my girlfriends at a sprayground to cool off with the kiddos. Below are pics of Jackson & Rachel are 3 weeks apart. We often joke they are going to get married.

This sprayground is Morse Park, and is located in Elk Grove. It is one of our favorite places to play. The grounds are great, clean even a few shady spots. In addition to the sprayground there are 3 other age specific playgrounds. Best of all it's free :)

Disneyland

After Laguna Beach we headed up to Anaheim to go to Disneyland for a few days. I love, love LOVE this place and was so excited to celebrate Jackson's 4th trip to Disneyland. He had a blast and remembered some of the rides he had been on before. He waited patiently in line and took most of his naps in his stroller....what a trooper! This trip was especially great because we got to stay at the Grand Californian. This beautiful hotel is right on Disney property and we got an amazing room with a view! Our trip was perfect! Enjoy our pictures!
