Teeny & Tiny

We have a doe & her babies that have been hanging out in our redwood trees behind our house.  While it is driving Teddy crazy, Jack & I have enjoyed watching them.  He has named the babies Teeny & Tiny and their mom Michelle (clever huh?!)  They are so cute and fast!  I was lucky to capture these shots.

Jr. Golf Putting Contest

This last weekend Jackson participated in the country clubs putting contest.  It was run by the Woman's Golf Group, which my mom is a member of.  The theme of the contest was "Playing Around".  The practice green was transformed into a cute course which the kids loved!   They had the green roped off and parents were asked to walk on perimeter of course.  It was hard to not coach him, really hard!  He did great!  Followed the ladies instruction, took it very seriously and tried his best & did not give up!  The max score you could get on a hole was a 6.  He did the 9 hole course twice and got a bunch of 3 scores, which for a 3 year old is great!!  He had a blast (despite his face in many of the pictures, ha!) and now has his putter in our family room to practice putting with daddy.

Nice putt Jack!

Holding his scorecard & waiting patiently for the next hole

Miss Linda handing him back his scorecard

Game face ON!  We were behind the "parent ropes" couldn't even get him to crack a smile

Well maybe a little smile :)

At Mimi's Lego & Blocks hole

Sink it!

Not too sure about putting under the pool noodles

I got him to stop for a water break!  It was hot out there!!

Dog Park

Last Saturday a dog park opened in Rancho Murieta.  This was something that we really needed as so many dogs live out here and need a safe place to run & play.  The park is beautiful with 2 sides for both large & small dogs.  Here are some pictures from the opening.

As you can see both my boys had a blast!!  Good times!

Teddy Ruff

Monday July 2nd was Teddy's first day of agility classes.  We always had talked about doing this with Mya & sadly never got around to it.  We were so excited when we found Fun First Agility.  It is located on Jackson Highway about 10 minutes from our house.  He did great last night!  Of course being treat & attention motivated didn't hurt either.  There are 3 levels of classes.  We are in the 8 week beginner class.  We would love to register him for AKC agility competitions in the future.  Based on the trainers thoughts from last night, it would be a perfect fit for Teddy!  Go Teddy!!!
