Going to school on a working cattle ranch has all sorts of advantages, especially come Easter time! The kids received a clue in the classroom about where to find the first batch of eggs. The Easter bunny took them from the playground, goat area, pig & calf barn, hay barn & finally the Horse corral for the final prize! They decorated bags and made these cute chick hats. I love that my kid was the only one who kept on his hat. Everyone else took them off or they flew off in excitement. He told his teachers it "made him search better". We still have our community egg hunt on Saturday and of course the Anderson Egg hunt on Sunday! Happy Early Easter everyone!!

On our way to the second clue!

Mission complete!!!

Listening to the next clue...

Answering the clue "where horses like to dance and prance!"

This is a bad picture but the two specs on the top are the resident barn owls. Very cool to see these guys!!
