Jacks School Egg Hunt

Going to school on a working cattle ranch has all sorts of advantages, especially come Easter time! The kids received a clue in the classroom about where to find the first batch of eggs. The Easter bunny took them from the playground, goat area, pig & calf barn, hay barn & finally the Horse corral for the final prize! They decorated bags and made these cute chick hats. I love that my kid was the only one who kept on his hat. Everyone else took them off or they flew off in excitement. He told his teachers it "made him search better". We still have our community egg hunt on Saturday and of course the Anderson Egg hunt on Sunday! Happy Early Easter everyone!!

Typhoon Lagoon

Disney World has 2 water parks on property.  Last year we visited Blizzard Beach, this time we wanted to check out Typhoon Lagoon.  We had gotten in the night before really late so it was nice to just lay in the sun and float around.

Florida 2013

We took a trip to Sunny Florida the end of February.  We had a great time! Spent time in Melbourne at the Ocean and of course Disney World!!  The weather was perfect, crowds were minimal and fun was BIG.  We feel so lucky to spend this time together with everyone.  How lucky was Jackson to have both his grandparents come join the fun too?!  This trip also marked this little guys 23,000 air mile!  Yep a few trips to Florida, Maui and San Diego sure add up.  He continues to be a great little traveler and always up for adventure.  A bonus with the East Coast Time change is we usually have to wake him up in the morning.  Haha revenge!

Catch Up!!

I just realized that I left out Thanksgiving & the month of December!  Birth month to 3 of my favorite people: Jesus, Nic & Jackson!!  Yikes kind of weird to look at Christmas Pictures at the end of March....nonetheless Enjoy!

 Jackson brought cupcakes to his preschool for his birthday day.  He wanted Vanilla cupcakes with blue sprinkles.  Here with one of his teachers Mrs. Richardson wearing the "birthday hat".  His friends loved his treats and it was a beautiful day on the ranch.

Jackson's preschool class took a fabulous trip to the Crocker. I was really impressed at how the docents structured the trip to occupy 3 & 4 year olds. They broke us down in small groups of 4. The day ended with a hands on art project and lunch outside. Fun day!!

Happy Birthday Teddy!!

Hard to believe this little guy is 2! He is such a sweet loving & HAPPY dog! One of the things I love the most is first thing in the morning he peeks inside Jackson's room to see if he's awake. Jackson gets a kick out of it too! Teddy loves chasing blue jays, barking at turkey & deer and is really intrigued by the quail. Weighing in at only 12 lbs he is small but is a power packed little guy! He has a bunch of nicknames some of our favorites are; Teds, Bears, Tedford, Tenney, Ruffy Tuffy, & of course Theodore when he's been naughty :)

Home Depot Saturdays

Today Nic took Jackson to Home Depot for their Saturday kid craft day. It's held the first Saturday of every month & is free! Today the project was a derby car (right up this 4year old & 33 year olds alley!!). Jack had a blast!
