A few weeks ago...I hosted Heidi's bridal shower. Along with the help of her sister, future MIL and my parents house, it was a great success!! I was a little nervous about planning an outside event in August the weather was perfect and it was so fun to celebrate Heidi!! Everyone came wearing fabulous dresses and big hats.

Sacramento Zoo & Birthday Fun!

It has been a while since I have done a post....as usual life has been crazy! This summer has been so fun. Jackson took swim lessons for the first time...sorry no pictures from the lessons, since it was a mommy and me class, I had to be in the pool the whole lesson. It started off a little rocky...the pool was freezing, the first lesson included lots of screaming, crying, and swim suit pulling....yes that's right. My sweet little baby exposed me to Mr. Frankie the 20 something swim teacher!! Lol gotta have a sense of humor to be a mommy!!!

We are still going to gymnastics class and Jackson continues to be such a fun kid! I am so lucky to be a stay at home mommy.....I can not imagine my life any other way. Thankfully I have a great group of girlfriends who are also lucky to be SAHM's. Here are some pictures from the Zoo playdate we had with Layla and Jayme. Layla & Jackson also take gymnastics together. They are soooo cute and really enjoy the company of one another....which is awesome since I love spending time with Jayme. :)

My good friend Kim's daughter Aubrey turned 2 on July 18th. She had a fabulous party that was a Sesame Street theme. This time last year my non mobile son would have allowed me to snap all sorts of fabulous photos. This year I was too busy chasing him around I didn't even get any of the birthday girl :( Here are some pics from the party!

Not to sure where the shoe is?!? He loved this thing!!!

4th of July....Rancho Murieta Style :)

After the pancake breakfast! Happy 4th!

We had such a fun 4th of July! We live in a great community, but it is especially fun on the 4th. At 8 am we went to the Pancake Breakfast held at the Lake Joaquin. My grandparents, my parents and the three of us all went to the breakfast. Thankfully Trader Joes has dairy free pancakes, so I brought Jackson's pancakes :) After the pancake breakfast we walked back to our house and had another mimosa before the parade at 10. Jackson loved the parade. He especially loved the fire truck and of course all the goodies that were thrown to the crowd. After the parade we went swimming at Mimi and Poppa's (my parents) then Jackson and I took a nap while Nic played golf. We had a BBQ, dessert and fireworks at our house at 6:30 that night. Rancho Murieta uses part of the HOA's to pay for a $25,000 firework show. We can see it very well from our front lawn. They are shot over the front lake so we have a great spot. I was trying to be flexible with Jackson's schedule so we let him stay up to watch the fireworks. For those of you who don't know he goes to bed between 6:30-7pm and sleeps straight through to 8 am. He feel asleep in the middle of the show and even slept through the LOUD finale....poor guy was too worn out from the busy day. It was a fun day!! Hope everyone had a great holiday!!
