Just for fun...
The following videos are not meant to be offensive in any way....Jackson is proud to be an American and has respect for those who are serving our country and those who are holding important offices such as President Obama. We hope you enjoy...our little Republican (remember his Nursery is done in elephants!)
The last month....
The month of November has been an extra crazy month in the Haviland house. I hosted a baby shower for our friends Chris & Tamara...who welcome baby Spencer in January. Then I threw Nic a 30th birthday party a little early.....It was great to celebrate with friends and celebrate Nic! Nic and I also hosted our first Thanksgiving at our house. It was a lot of fun but oh so much work as I have inherited the "martha gene" in honor of my favorite gal Martha Stewart. Our menu consisted of yummy Turkey that we dry brined, we also used citrus and fresh herbs and of course the secret ingredient of BEER to keep it extra moist. My grandma brought her delicious party potatoes, my aunt Denise made some BEAUTIFUL antipasto platters and my aunt Diane brought pumpkin cheesecake and a Baileys cake all homemade! I made roasted veggies: Sweet potato, butternut squash, onions, garlic, and carrots...along with fresh rosemary and thyme. I also made my own cranberry sauce, and if that wasn't enough I made homemade mac and cheese (even though I couldn't eat it, I was told it was so yummy!) My mom made a beautiful salad with pears, cranberries, candied walnuts and champagne vinaigrette. It was a beautiful meal.....Martha would have been proud!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving
He loves to EAT!
Trying Turkey for the first time...loved it!
