Kings Game

A few weeks ago we took Jackson to his first and what could be sadly his last Kings game. It is going to be so sad if the Kings leave Sac. I have such amazing memories of going to games especially with my dad. Jackson loved to watch all the fun things they do to entertain the crowd during time outs. He liked cheering (screaming) when the Kings scored. It was Slampsons birthday the day of the game so a few other NBA team mascots came to celebrate. Jackson got to sing "happy birthday" which was fun! Perhaps the biggest thrill came when Jackson got to meet a few of the Royal Court Dancers aka "dancing ladies". Here are a few pics from the night.

Bridal Shower

This past Sunday we had my sisters Bridal Shower. It was so fun celebrating Kelli and spending time with great friends and family. Although we were hoping for better weather, we were so glad that the day was rain free! We had wonderful food, played fun silly games and best of all yummy champagne cocktails complete with "Peterson Punch" celebrating her new last name! I was so busy I barely had time to take any pictures during the party but you can see some of the pictures before some of the guests arrived. Kelli was SPOILED with beautiful presents and everyone had a great time. I can't believe the BIG DAY is almost here...........very exciting!

Busy busy!

We are members at the Sacramento Railroad Museum. Jackson in case you didn't already know LOVES trains. He can identify parts on trains, loves to talk about trains, play trains, loves the Sleep train commercial on t.v., refers to the steam coming off hot food as "train food", we must have close to 50 Thomas trains and he can name them all. Needless to say the Train Museum is one of his favorite places. In case you have never been do not be fooled about it being only for school age kids and adults. There is a ton of interactive exhibits and even a Thomas Train Table area on the second floor...whats great about this is its for kids under 6, way cool!

In awe by the large Steam engine train

Poor Jackson....can't wait to go see more trains, but mean mommy wants a picture!

Not sure what this "face" is....a mixture of smile, crying and being impatient: otherwise a 2year old!!
On Sunday we had my cousin Kristi's bridal shower. She is getting married April 16th and Jackson is going to be her ringbearer, very exciting! The picture above from L to R, My sister Kelli, Cousin Kristi, my Grammy, and my cousins twin sister Kerri. The shower was beautiful and it was so fun celebrating Kristi!

Oh how things have changed ....now he is telling us about all animals!

Another one of Jackson's favorite places is the Folsom Zoo. He loves all the animals but mostly we go to ride the TRAIN! They have a little Steam Locomotive that costs $2 to ride and is quite popular among the little ones.

A few weekends ago we went to my Uncle & Aunts house. They live in Cameron Park. Jackson went on some "ventures" as he calls it. He fed the Koi fish, played with Casey and Hayley, sat with Budda and explored with daddy.

2 year old pictures

Back in January I took Jackson to get his 2 year old pictures taken. At first he was acting so silly and acted like he had never taken a picture before....trust me this kid has been well photographed! Eventually we got a couple good ones.....oh I miss the days when photo-days were fun. Jackson is so curious and wants to play with everything new in sight! We had fun though....I broke out in a sweat from jumping and crawling around after him. Here are a few to enjoy!

Very forced and "cheesy" smile
