This was Jackson's 3rd Halloween, and WOW what a difference a year makes! This year he was very excited about getting dressed up for Halloween & of course CANDY!! The previous two years he was Tigger so I was thrilled when he chose this Lightning McQueen Cars costume. Anyone who know me, knows my LOVE of Disney!! We actually bought this costume in July when we were in Disneyland. Pretty good timing considering Cars 2 came out on DVD the next day! He wore it to Costco when we bought the movie the next day :) I'm also hoping he will wear it to Disney World next month too! The thing wasn't cheap so its nice to get some "extra" mileage out of it.
One of the best things about living in Rancho Murieta is Halloween time! Since there is quite a bit of elevation change in the different neighborhoods....trick or treating in the golf cart is a must! Its so fun to see the streets filled with carts & listening to all the excitement from kiddos & adults! My aunt & uncle host a big dinner complete with yummy chili & cornbread. This year my cousin Ryan helped Jackson trick or treat! It was so cute watching them go up to the doors. My cousin who is 14 also got to collect some candy too, lol!!
