Disneyland Trip

This last weekend we went to Disneyland. This was Jackson's second trip and on Saturday I turned 30!! We had so much fun! My parents aka: Mimi and Poppa came too. It had been 15 years since they last went, needless to say they had a blast. Thankfully my dad was able to get a huge suv, we had no problem loading it up. Jackson is a great traveler, but definitely doesn't travel light. He was such a good boy driving in the car....however I take a little bit of credit for this..as I bought some new toys for him to play with and packed plenty of yummy snacks.

Gotta love the "classic Disney D"

He said, "whoaaaaa" when he walked up to Lightning McQueen

Waiting for the Playhouse Disney Show

On the Casey Jr. Train.

Daddy & Jackson on Roger Rabbit

Waiting for Mimi & Poppa outside Splash Mountain

We love Pluto!

Loving the Carousel

Jackson's first ride was The Haunted Mansion....he rode with my parents and was mesmerized at all the cool stuff. He LOVED ToonTown and of course Fantasyland. He rode on everything and never cried or acted scared just held onto the bars. I was a little nervous about him meeting the characters....not a problem. In fact he ran up to Pluto (the first one we saw) and gave him a high five and a kiss....he is so social and loves to be the center of attention (not sure who he got that from!!!)

Grandpa & Jackson

Taking a cat nap in the Ergo (a lifesaver, I LOVE my Ergo!!)

He is such a happy, silly and sweet boy. He loved the Playhouse Disney show and loved to wave at the many kids running around the park. In California Adventure he was "flirting" with one of the workers. Two minutes later she showed up with a giant, fresh Mickey sourdough bread for Jackson. They have a Boudin exhibit at California. How sweet was that!?!?? We thanked her and Jackson blew her a beso.....I love Disney Magic!!

Perhaps the most memorable moment was when Jackson saw his beloved Tig-tig (Tigger), he waited patiently to meet Tigger, just waving and laughing in line. When the big moment came he went in for a big kiss and was so excited to meet Tigger. Everyone in line was commenting on how sweet he was and strangers were taking pictures of this magical moment. After we went into Pooh's corner and he got to pick out a Tigger!

Waiting patiently for Tigger

Hey Tigger!!

Loves his new Tigger

Our trip was wonderful and I am so glad that my parents were able to come with us....besides after having a baby I now feel so different about birthdays. The day Jackson was born was one I will never forget, so what better way to spend my 30th birthday than with the people who were there that special day!! It was so nice having the extra help, Nic and I were able to ride many rides together which was a change from September. I am looking forward to many, many more trips in the future. Thanks for a great time Mickey!!!
